Built on the side of one of the many hills of Astypalaia, with a spectacular view of the Aegean, Pylaia Boutique Hotel & Spa is not your typical hotel. Everything around you is indicatory of a Greek island: the narrow stone paved alleys with their wide stairs, olive oil trees and flowers, white-washed walls, it's all here.

Pick one of the 27 rooms and suites, composed in 8 different types to cater for every desire. Discover an excellent bar restaurant, a modern, high quality Spa & taste one of the finest Greek breakfasts. You have discovered a lavish retreat in one of the most beautiful destinations in the Aegean, Astypalaia.

PLORI BAR RESTAURANT

At the highest point of the impressive main building of Pylaia Boutique Hotel & Spa, we created the restaurant – bar of the hotel, a unique spot with meticulous decoration and diffused touches of contemporary design, atmospheric lighting of course, a panoramic view of the Venetian castle of Astypalaia and Livadi cove's edge embracing the calm waters of the Aegean sea. We named it "Plori", the Greek word for the bow of the ship, as looking at it from afar, it seems like a ship's saloon "sailing" in the Aegean, taking you on a culinary journey of flavors, from the traditional cuisine of Astypalaia including unique dishes from the Greek and Mediterranean cuisine.
