BookYourWeddingDay.com expands to Mexico and the Dominican Republic

Following the resounding success in the Cypriot and Greek wedding tourism markets, the Cypriot innovative global wedding tourism platform, BookYourWeddingDay.com, is now extending its network to two additional promising markets: Mexico and the Dominican Republic. The training of local tourism businesses in both countries has already began, and by the end of 2017, it is expected that civil ceremony venues from both Latin American countries will be incorporated into the platform, giving prospective couples the chance to find available dates at their desired venue while carrying out their booking quickly and easily.
BookYourWeddingDay.com coordinates and automates the entire booking process, validating a civil ceremony date and relieving individuals from the time-consuming bureaucratic processes of the past. Recognizing the many benefits of the platform, an increasing number of wedding destinations have shown interest in being a part of the online initiative, aimed at simplifying the relevant procedures while increasing the wedding tourism flow and ensuing revenue.
With the participation of hundreds of hotel groups, other wedding venues and municipalities across Cyprus and Greece, 1900 bookings have been conducted for 2018 and 2019 in both countries from the 14 th of March 2017 until today. Ayia Napa currently wears the wedding tourism crown, with approximately 500 bookings through the platform, from the 14 th of March 2017 until today, followed by the municipalities of Paphos and Geroskipou, whereas at regional level Pafos region is at the top of the list with 800 bookings.
